IPS Empress® is a leucite reinforced, pressed glass ceramic material
that offers the optimal in esthetics of all ceramic restorations. The pressing process
creaths a stronger and less porous restoration. Each pressed ingot can be out back
and layered with porcelain for more precise color mapping or it can be stained to
match the existing surrounding dentition. It has a wear behavior similar to that
of natural tooth enamel for long lasting results. With IPS Empress®,
we use special die materials to replicate the shde of the prepared tooth for precies
